First Monday was pleased to host Lt. Governor Pamela Evette, as she is a Republican candidate for Governor.
Lt. Gov. Evette spoke about her campaign and the issues that follow the lead of President Trump in championing the America First agenda to slash red tape and harmful regulations here in SC. She nicknamed DOGE to SCOGE. She promised to utilize her accounting background to review waste, fraud, and abuse in the state budget. She also spoke about cracking down on violent crime and upholding the rule of law, as well as unleashing American energy to lower costs for South Carolinians.
