Dear Friend,

First Monday in Greenville will begin another interesting and informative year in January 2026 at The Poinsett Club. You will want to fill out the form and renew your membership today. Memberships for individuals and couples will be $40.00.

Our programming goal is to introduce you to business leaders, elected officials, and candidates, who will educate you on issues and inform you about our community. As you know, not all speakers are political, but we strive only to bring folks who, by virtue of their job or position, impact your life.

There is plenty of parking, and we usually meet in the Ballroom. Lunch will be served at 12 noon, and we will have you on your way by 1 p.m.

In 2026, lunch prices will be $28.00 per person for members and $33.00 for non-members. Non-members must prepay for lunch. Per the Poinsett Club’s policy, we will charge $40.00 to those who do not make reservations (members or non-members) and want to attend as walk-ins.

Reservations are required, and we will bill $28.00 for all no-shows as the Club bills us for missed meals.

The First Monday link opens reservations one week before the meeting, and you will receive up to 4 notices. Please note the link will close on Thursday at 11:30 am before the Monday meeting. Once the link is closed, you may come as a walk-in for $40.00.

Location

First Monday is a luncheon (12:00pm – 1:00pm) that meets at the Poinsett Club located on East Washington Street in historic downtown Greenville.

First Monday is not affiliated with any outside organizations. We are providing this information and opportunity to those who would like to get involved. First Monday reserves the right to advertise events we feel our audience would appreciate.

Please note we only allow members/guests who are paying for a meal to attend the meeting – the Club charges us for the place setting so we have no allowance for seat warmers.

Club Policy

Non-Members will be charged $33.00.
No-shows will be charged. As always a reservation made is a reservation paid.
The Poinsett Club‘s dress code does not allow hats, denim, tennis shoes or shorts. Business attire is acceptable for lunch. For gentlemen, shirts with a collar, turtlenecks or sweaters with slacks are appropriate. Ladies should dress appropriately.
Shoes are required.
Cell phones are not permitted in the Club – please make your calls outside.
