First Monday is May 5

Please consider inviting a friend to our meeting and make sure they make a reservation. As always a reservation made is a reservation paid.

Please mark your calendar for our May 5th meeting. First Monday is pleased to host Jeff Boss, CEO of Greenville Water.

Mr. Jeff Boss is the CEO of Greenville Water and will be discussing the Table Rock Complex wildfire. Unfortunately, it was a perfect storm of dry conditions, debris from Hurricane Helene, and steep terrain, creating a historic fire event in the Southeast. Over 16,000 acres were burned, the largest fire in our history. The Table Rock Complex wildfire has burned through a significant portion of land around the Table Rock reservoir, impacting an area known for its rich plant and animal diversity. While wildfires are a natural part of the ecosystem, they can have lasting effects for years. But no worries – your water is safe. Come and hear how Greenville Water crews worked to protect your water source.

NOTE: the registration link will open one week before the meeting for members and will close Thursday at 11:00 am for a final count. (note new closing time)
