First Monday was pleased to host Mr. Jeff Boss, CEO of Greenville Water.
Mr. Boss discussed the Table Rock wildfires and how they affected the land and water quality of your watershed. The good news is that the water is still safe, delicious, and refreshing (so drink your water). He also showed slides of the new growth and the return of the animals to the watershed. While fire is nature’s way of clearing the land for rebirth, the damage to the forest floor is long-lasting.
